Thanks again for your support and lovely messages regarding my new showroom. I know many of you of been following my journey from the beginning and I am truly grateful.
I am excited to share the images from a recent project that is close to my heart. My lovely client engaged me to help source furniture for her newly built Hamptons inspired home in the Yarra Valley.
She needed help sourcing new pieces to integrate with her existing antiques she had collected over the years as well as giving her rooms some personality with wallpaper.
Sitting Room
An elegant and cosy space, I introduced a timeless floral pattern in the custom made armchairs, alongside a marble top side and coffee table.
Study
The study has a beautiful outlook of the neighbouring orchard. Drawing inspiration from the moody Cole & Son Macchine Volanti wallpaper I sourced a classic style desk, chair, console and table lamp from Cromwell. The art silk rug was custom sized to suit.
Main Bedroom
The main bedroom is vast and felt ‘soulless’. I needed to create functional zones and cosy it up. With the wainscoting already in place, the textured wallpaper adds warmth and pattern. I sourced the oversized bedside tables, lamps and bed ottoman.
The duck egg blue and caramel tones in the cushion fabric tie everything together.
I created a sitting area beyond the sleeping zone with a small console and TV. The chaise lounge custom designed to be the perfect reading nook.
This small foyer space greets you on entering the bedroom. I love the contrast of the fresh white Chippendale chairs against the antique console.
My dream walk in robe! A central island and beautiful timber joinery painted a sage green colour.
The ensuite W.C. is elevated with the installation of a classic wallpaper.
Guest Bedroom
The Guest Bedroom received a beautiful navy grasscloth wallpaper. A custom bedhead, cushions and ottoman with a pop of green provide a fresh contrast.
Two navy and white architectural sketches sit above a classic dresser.
The ensuite toilet is not forgotten. I love the reappearance of the green accents from the bedroom in here.
This project was such a joy to be part of, allowing me to share with my client our love of the Hamptons aesthetic . If you are in need of some help sourcing furniture, please reach out. I would love to help!
