It seems timely to be featuring the colour orange this week on Friday’s Favourites. The varying shades of autumn orange have been particularly stunning in Melbourne in the past few weeks. With the blue skies, the scenery is making the routine daily drives actually enjoyable. I know it won’t last, so I’m trying to soak it in before the weather turns.
Orange is said to be an uplifting and fun colour and is perfect to add an injection of colour to a ‘dead’ space in a room. It is a great alternative to add brightness if you are not such a fan of yellow or red.
One of my favourite Interior Designers, Maria Barros, uses pops of orange to create a sense of fun in this room.
