It has been a big week of installations at our new build. The wallpaper and lighting have gone in. Unfortunately I don’t have any photos to share yet as I need to steer clear while the flooring is being laid. I can show you this piece of feature wallpaper that has been installed somewhere quite unexpected. I have loved this Christopher Farr print for ages and am excited that I will be able to see it in all its glory every day. More to come……
My handles from Restoration Hardware are also going in. I have been crossing my fingers that we have enough for all the cupboards and drawers. You might remember that my hubby carried 157 of them back from a work trip to New York last year? At least there’s a funny story behind them (we can laugh now!).
Here they are on a couple of the kitchen drawers. My Carrara bench top has been covered up to protect it but here is a little glimpse……
And now on to what has caught my eye for this week’s Friday’s Favourites. No surprises that I am drawn to the blue and white palette of this bedroom. I was considering this pendant in my own master bedroom, I love it’s simplicity. The geometric wallpaper is subtle but adds interest.
And this colourful breakfast nook. It is cheery and bright and would be a great place to start the day.
Yes, I am a bit of a craftaholic and this purpose built craft room would be a trap, I may never come out! Unfortunately there are no wrapping stations in our new home but I can always admire someone else’s.
Finally with the arrival of Spring, this colourful outdoor area gets me excited about summertime entertaining.
Have a lovely weekend.
