This week we have reached new heights with the boxes that have been taking over our living room! They contain all the lighting that is being installed at our new build today. It will be great to be rid of the boxes and see the lights in situ.
The wallpaper is starting to go up too. Grasscloth is definitely one my favourite wallpaper choices for the texture and warmth it adds to a room. I chose this soft green colour for our study.
Hopefully I will be able to share some lighting photos next week.
I always love a grand entrance in a home and my first Friday’s Favourites is exactly that. The white colour palette is restrained and furnishings simple but the millwork and timber staircase make a big statement.
As you know, I am partial to a window seat. I love how this one is tucked away in its’ own nook. The oval window and wall sconces finish the space perfectly.
Finally, I am featuring two kitchens this week that are both similar with their fittings and layout. Both use subway tiles and shaker cabinetry. Each has similar pendant lighting and pale timber flooring. This first one has a painted island bench. Texture is introduced with the rattan barstools.
The second kitchen is part of a newly renovated Queenslander that I found on Instagram via hammer_and_heels. It is more sleek with it’s white island bench and chippendale barstools. This beautiful home is currently on the market, check out more gorgeous images in the link below.
Which kitchen do you prefer?
Have a lovely weekend.
