I have always loved stonework on a house exterior, you might remember my blogpost from last year? So it is probably no surprise that we have chosen to have a feature stone chimney on our new build. Work started on the ‘jigsaw puzzle’ this week and I am loving how it’s coming along, thanks to the patience and skill of VDB Gardens. Unfortunately Melbourne’s wet weather has slowed down the progress but it will hopefully be finished next week.
This week’s Friday’s Favourites start off with a bright and welcoming entrance. A black dresser grounds the space while pops of colours against the white walls add some personality.
I love the design of this kitchen with its feature windows. They allow plenty of light and a pretty outlook from the sink.
I recently shared the beautiful interior of the Bannisters By The Sea Penthouse, designed by Collette Dinnigan. Collette has added her stylish flair in a new collaboration. She has recently joined architect Peter Israel to create the interior for the Golf House apartments in Sydney’s Surry Hills. Her eye for detail is evident with the apartments featuring high end finishes with an abundance of natural light. The kitchen features marble bench tops while the flooring is an Australian timber.
The Carrara marble continues in the bathroom for the vanity and feature wall.

Building of the Golf House apartments will commence later this year, I can’t wait to see the end result.
Have a lovely weekend.
