Friday’s Favourites starts off with a few pics from our recent Merimbula mini holiday. Mr Gallerie B and I (sans kids), along with 4 other couples flew up for the long weekend. We had a wonderful time, including the small plane ride there and back. No flight attendants, or even toilets on board was a new experience.
And no door on the cock pit. It was strange seeing the pilots chatting to each other and not ‘looking’ where they were flying! The concept of autopilot amazes me. It was fairly tight in the cabin.
I had never been to Merimbula before and was in awe of the beautiful the beaches and pristine sand.
It is great to discover a new part of Australia and we would love to come back with the kids some day.
I always say that as soon as I post a blog about a particular topic, I usually find another perfect and related image the next day. Well, following on from my Coffee Table 3 Ways post, here is another example of a white lattice leg table. It works well with the soft colours in this living room.
I love the charcoal joinery in this cosy sitting room/library. The pretty gold legs on the coffee table and flowers add a feminine touch to the dark palette.
I have been eagerly watching the new build of Amity Dry who was a contestant on The Block way back in 2003 (wow, I’m feeling old). She has just revealed her stunning ensuite. Amity has done a beautiful job, those grey subway tiles and wall lights are gorgeous!
I can never go past a window seat. This cute girls nook features pretty cushions and incredible view.
Have a lovely weekend.
