Melbourne turned on the weather for my annual visit to the Melbourne Flower and Garden Show yesterday. I loved getting my fix of floral colour and garden inspiration. This garden by Vivid Design for The Greenery Garden Centre was a stand out. As I am on the lookout for evergreen hedging ideas for our garden, this one displayed some great options (Portugese Laurel and Waterhousia). They used a splash of white from the Hydrangea ‘Sundae Fraise’ (according to the brochure!) against the layers of green.
The same Landscape Designer was behind the unforgettable Gardener’s Library exhibit in 2014. I still dream of having one of these conservatories!
Here are some more images from yesterday’s Show.
In contrast to the colours above, this neutral bedroom features some beautiful details. The palette is perfect for creating a calming bedroom while the layering of textiles adds interest.
What can I say about this closet space other than I can just see Miss 8 having a great time playing ‘shops’ in here! I wish my shoe collection could justify their own custom shelving.
There is lots to love about this open plan kitchen/dining space. The charcoal pendant and island provide contrast against the light grey cabinetry. The copper barstools add to the industrial feel.
This is one butler’s pantry I can get excited about. I love all the details in this small space, the cupboard fronts, floor rug and roman blind.
Have a lovely weekend.
