How has your week been? I had a marathon design session with our draftsperson last weekend. All my cabinetry ideas for our house were discussed as part of the Working Drawings. It was exciting but scary, and I’m hoping that it will all pull together. Again I am so grateful for Pinterest. I was able to share my ideas easily through the images I have saved over the past year. BUT, we haven’t yet received our final quote so things might change still!
Speaking of Pinterest, here are some of this week’s Friday’s Favourites.
This gorgeous open plan kitchen and dining space is by one of my favourite Australian interior designers, Leigh Boswell from Highgate House. Leigh has a classic style with a great attention to detail. I love the choice of stone wall, white beadboard walls and dark flooring (you may recognise the kitchen from my last blogpost).
Oh to have this much space in a bathroom! This feels more like a glamorous dressing room than a wet area mainly due to the inclusion of the floor rug, pendant lamp and tufted ottoman.

It’s a big call but I would have to say this is one of my favourite kitchen images. Although I wish I could see it from another angle to get a good look at the barstools and splashback tiles. Adding fabric through upholstery or a roman blind softens the hard surfaces in a kitchen. The joinery is beautiful too, especially the archway.
This pool area uses my favourites colours for an outdoor space, grey pavers, lots of greenery and white accents. I don’t think I would mind being overlooked by these neighbours either.
Have a lovely weekend.
