The truth is that I have been a collector my entire life. I blame it on my Cancerian star sign but over the years I have hoarded collected anything from postcards, soaps, serviettes, stickers, swap cards and Hello Kitty stationary. I like to think that I have become more selective with age. So these days, it’s all about blue and white ceramics. I have slowly grown the collection which I display in this cabinet, picking up bits and pieces from my travels, op shops, ebay, as well as receiving some as gifts.
Apart from seeing my collection en masse, I love using blue and white ceramics around the home.
Here are some other examples of how to decorate with blue and white ceramics.
Fill a blue and white pot with a plant.
Create a fresh look by adding shades of green.
Use a blue and white ceramic as a vessel for flowers.
Pinks will always look gorgeous.
Create an interesting table setting using different shaped vessels.

Or allow the jar to be the shining feature on a console table.
Cluster three different blue and white ceramics together to create a pretty vignette.
(Here are some jars I sourced for a Gallerie B client)
Or use different shapes and sizes to create interest on some shelves.
And where do you find blue and white ceramics? Here are my top picks.
Do you collect something too? I would love to hear about it.
