I have always admired bone inlay furnishings. I don’t know whether it’s the colour, the beautiful Indian craftsmanship and the fact that my late Granny was Anglo-Indian, or all of the above. To own a special piece has long been on my Wish List and last week, this beauty finally made its way from Montebello to my home. It’s not yet in all its glory. The peach carpet and cold grey/blue wall really don’t do it justice. But I’m waiting patiently for the day when it has its own dedicated space that it deserves.
Many Australian Interior Designers have embraced Bone Inlay and use it in its varying forms to inject colour, pattern or interest.

I have a radar sense and can spot a bone inlay piece a mile away!
