Apologies to my Gallerie B subscribers for this post being a day late.  We arrived home yesterday from a quick trip to Hayman Island (amazing!) and internet speed was frustratingly slow up there.  But more on that to come. Today’s post is about Black Internal Doors.  I recently noticed that these were a recurring theme in my Pinterest Boards (here).  There are many reasons I love this design detail. Black doors are elegant, especially when painted in a gloss. 
Black doors mark a destination. 
They balance out the black ‘void’ of the TV. 
Black internal doors are suggestive of some special behind them. 
They make a feature of a beautiful window.
And a fairly standard door seem more special. 
I am definitely considering including a black internal door or two in the new build. What do you think?
