Happy New Year and best wishes for 2020!
I hate the word ‘resolutions’ but one of my ‘goals’ for 2020 is to get back writing blogposts and sharing more design and decorating tips. So I know it’s February already but here we go…..
I feel very fortunate to have some beautiful projects on the go at the moment. Some lovely soft furnishing and lighting projects:
Some renovations….
And the design of a new build which should be underway soon.
It was a lovely surprise to see my work featured in the January and February editions of Home Beautiful magazine. Design that is both functional and beautiful is something that I am particularly passionate about.
A while ago, well actually nearly 5 years ago (time flies!), I posted a blog about 10 Tips for Decorating with Mirrors. Fast forward a few years and mirrors are still one of my favourite decorating items. They can be useful to create light in a darker space, inject some personality through a colourful frame or add elegance through a more classic frame.
Here are My Four Favourite Mirrors:
- Silver Rectangular with Beading– the profile is simple but adds an elegance to any room.
2. Classic Round – One of my favourites, this round mirror is perfect when you want to break up a space that has lots of lines and angles. The frame is classic and beautiful.
3. Bone Inlay – As you know, I am a huge fan of anything bone inlay. These frames add colour and personality to any space including this otherwise classic/white bathroom.
4. Slimline Round – A more contemporary option, these round mirrors are perfect when there are other feature details such as tiles or lighting that you don’t want to detract from.
All mirrors featured can be sourced through Gallerie B Interiors.
