To create an elegant home that would grow with this young family, incorporating functional storage and layout, with a modern aesthetic sympathetic to the classic style of this Californian Bungalow.

We kept the original front two rooms of the house and then designed a new ground floor living, kitchen, laundry and mudroom, retreat and Master suite. Upstairs was the kids’ wing including three bedrooms, a large bathroom and rumpus. The floor plan was spacious and light-filled and the lifestyle of this family of five was taken into consideration.

The materials selected were equally beautiful and durable. Storage was maximised in all spaces. The soft furnishings had family in mind and all fabrics specified are hard wearing and practical.
