Wow, what an exciting few months it has been! I am finally settled in my new showroom and studio. It has been a marathon transforming the space and setting everything up but I am thrilled to be here at 98 Canterbury Rd, Canterbury. We are usually open by appointment but during the month of December are celebrating with Festive Fridays on the 8th, 15th and 22nd. Pop in anytime from 9:30-6pm on these days to share a glass of bubbles and do some Christmas shopping with 20% off our homewares.
Each year I review my favourite Christmas Candles (here is last year’s post). With my own showroom space, it only seemed fitting that I now stock and sell my own range of Christmas candles. As you know, there are so many candles on the market, it can be overwhelming. I searched high and low to find a brand that was complementary to mine with a product that I would love to have in my own home or buy a friend as a gift. Enter my new Chistmas Candle range by Carriere Freres. Made in France by the Trudon brothers, these beautiful candles are made from 100% vegetable wax and recycled products. Their scents are like nothing I have smelt before. They are made from a botanical base and not sickly or overpowering. The Holiday Collection features three scents, each with a base of Siberian Pine.
Option One:
Siberian Pine & Winter Rose- a traditional pine scent softened with rose. To me this is a more of a classic and luxurious scent.
This scent also has a set of 2 Botanical Wax Pellets that can be hung in a wardrobe, powder room or any space where you would like a hint of perfume. I hope my mum isn’t reading this but a box of these this will go in her stocking!
Option Two:
Siberian Pine & Candied Ginger – a refreshing combination of ginger and pine needles. This is a beautiful mix of savoury with a hint of sweetness.
Option Three:
Siberian Pine & Smoked Wood – a classic woody scent. It is a comforting perfume reminding me of a European Christmas.
If you can’t decide which candle you love the most (I still can’t!), there is also a trio set of smaller candles in a beautiful gift set.
